The Embrace Sketchbook Collection expresses thoughts that many of us have had about life, and their messages inspire us to look within ourselves and see the positive side of life.  We hope that you will share your journey with us as we share our thoughts and vision for embracing life and being empowered by all life has to offer us.

Dottie for Embrace!

Steal-of-the-Week (Dec. 12-Dec. 19)

Embrace the Day

Qty. available: 1

Message: “Take it on—whatever the day brings! Each day brings something new… a chance to grow. Try something new.”

The Frame: Embrace artist Kathleen Sampson created the decoupage 16 x 20 mat that frames this picture at a recent “Embrace Your Creativity” workshop [link to blog post about party]. When asked what inspired her frame’s “clock” theme, Kathy said: “I didn’t even realize until after I was finished that it turned out to be all about time. I guess I must have been  thinking, make the most of every minute!”

What the artist has to say: “This is my favorite piece I've created so far," Kathy says. "I love its simple message. On those mornings that just seem to start you off on the wrong foot, this happy, carefree girl on her shiny red bike reminds me that every day—good or bad—is a gift to be grateful for.”

“Embrace the Day” will sell for the limited-time Steal-of-the-Week (SOTW) price of $33.75. And remember, 10% of the purchase proceeds will be donated to organizations that support violence prevention and recovery programs for women! So, what are you waiting for? Click the Buy Now button below to scoop up the SOTW! If you’re too late, you will be redirected back to the Embrace store, where you can shop other fabulous Embrace artwork until our next SOTW is posted on Dec. 19!

Happy Holidays from Embrace!

December is a very busy month at the Embrace studio... I'm already late with sharing my Embrace Holiday card! (It’s not too late to send cards out… right?) I am really happy with the way the holiday card turned out and will get it up on the Embrace Shop very soon. For now I would love your comments and if you want to order you can email me at and I will get back to you with the details!

Here it is… What do you think?

The inside is blank, leaving room for writing that special message!  The addition of the Eiffel Tower is in honor of one of our Embrace ladies, Ivy—her trip to Paris last year inspired us all, especially me. I have added spending New Year’s in Paris to my very long bucket list! The Eiffel Tower is a special symbol of “doing what you love and making it happen,” so embrace the holiday spirit and enjoy every minute of it… even the crazy rush to get it all done part! Embrace it ALL!

Wishing you a happy holiday season and EMBRACE THE NEW YEAR!

"Embrace Your Creativity" Workshop

The Embrace team recently hosted an "Embrace Your Creativity" Workshop, where participants gathered for a backyard wine & cheese party. The women were then asked to chose the Embrace print that they could relate to the most, and decoupage a frame inspired by the print's message. The ladies really embraced their creativity, and the final results were fantastic!
